I swear that I am going to try to post more often to this thing.. No more being lazy. Okay, a quick re-cap of finished projects:
Harry Potter socks. Not difficult. Just a seriously long project to complete.
From the Charmed Knits book. I just used what I could find at my LYS which ended up being Dale Baby Ull. I also used size 1 needles and a lot of my patience. But I'm thinkin... not bad for my first pair of socks ever.I then moved on to more socks.. which include another pair of quidditch socks for my sister, and a pair of random toe up socks with a cable. But I made these ankle socks because I am sick to death of knee socks, and I don't think I'd even have the patience to do regular length socks.. I just wanted something easy and fairly instantly gratifying
The purple sock looking things are slippers from knitty. For my Mom. I've decided to knit Chritsmas presents this year. This may be a late revelation because we're already into November.. but I'm feeling over ambitious. Plus, theoretically I should have lots of time to knit.. I'm not in school right now since I'm in limbo-land between my undergraduate work and starting PT school... all I have to do is work, and more than half the work is at CSU in the antatomy lab.. and I have all those bus rides and stuff to knit during.
So yeah, slippers for my mom
Maybe a hat and mitten set for my sister
Who knows what for my dad. Maybe a scarf? I liked this one.
Oh the decisions. Well, I best get back to the slipper.. Christmas is only 44 days away. Oh crap. That's soon.
