Ok.. so despite the fact that it looks like I abandoned this blog for awhile.. I actually have been busy knitting.. and I have pictures.. I've just been too lazy (and busy and sick) to put said pictures on my computer and then actually blog about it.
The good news is.. after the last few disastrous projects I've done over the summer, I now have a few that went right! (yay!)
The Pillow is pretty much done... I just need to weave in the ends and get buttons and sew them on. I need to take some pictures of that and post them.
The Harry Potter Quidditch socks... holy crow. I totally bit off more than I could chew with that project... I'm still not done with the first pair! It's soooo frustrating I feel like I knit and knit and knit and knit and knit for forever and then I only have 1/4 of an inch done. I do plan however, to get a lot of it done on the plane ride to Seattle.
My latest and greatest project though, is a shrug from the book fitted knits. It's the two-toned shrug, but I am doing it in one color. It's a very pretty dusty rose color, which goes well with my brown dress that I'm wearing to the wedding. This must be done before the plane ride to Seattle. I'm giving myself that deadline so that I have time to block it, dry it, and pack it.
Well.. time to get back to the old grindstone.. if I'm not all spaced out on cold medicine when I get home later, I'll try to post more with pictures.
